SOMETIMES, THE MOST DANGEROUS THING . . . IS THE TRUTH.

The murder of a pretty NYU sophomore from a wealthy suburb sets off an avalanche of protests over gun violence and a groundswell of sympathy for the tragic victim. Hannah, an ambitious cable news producer, digs into the story, amplifying sympathy for the poor dead girl and grabbing big ratings. Meanwhile Paulo, a print reporter from a neighborhood paper, reports about a second shooting in the same park on the same night. When the two stories converge, Hannah and Paulo team up. Their search for the truth pulls them into the maelstrom surrounding the biggest story of the year. The problem is that nobody wants to hear the real story.
