“An Edge-of-your-seat mystery with one of my favorite characters.”
I’m a big fan of the Logan Mckenna mysteries and Look Again is another winner. The whodunit elements are compelling, the characters are interesting, and Ms. Davisson’s writing is entertaining. Get a cup of hot cocoa and settle in for a long night because you are not going to want to put this one down until you’re finished.
When Logan happens to be present on the horse farm of a new friend, the circumstances draw her into both the police investigation and potentially the cross-hairs of the killer — if only Logan can figure out who that is. The author keeps her readers guessing and weaves together several plot lines that might lead to the answer. Meanwhile, we find out what’s going on in the lives of the familiar characters. It’s a pleasant ride and one well worth taking.
Readers who are new to this series may be best advised to start with earlier books in order to fully appreciate the many subplots involving the recurring characters, but the author does a good job of making the story a stand-alone. Fans of Logan will absolutely love this story (and eagerly anticipate the next.)
