“An action-packed short story and a great prequel to the series.”

This short story is quick and action-packed. Holly and Nova are on a strike team taking out an arms dealer and his pedophile brother. Nova is the new guy. After the mission, Holly has another chore. This one is personal. When Nova tags along, Holly finds out whether Nova is a guy she can trust, or not.  

A wonderful introduction to the Holly and Nova series, which I am now eager to start.

The story is thick with dialogue, including some first person narration that makes you work to understand whose POV you are seeing. I liked the effect.
