Move over Harry Bosch, there’s a new guy in town. I have loved Harry Bosch from the first book through book 28 and until now, have never found another like him. Well, that wait is over. Detective Michael Stoneman can match wits with Harry any day of the week. Chapman’s writing is clear, concise, crisp and stays on point. His characters are well-defined and as you progress through the book, you begin to care about each of them. The story was definitely a thriller, an edge-of-your-seat read that kept you guessing most of the time. Viewed from the perspective of the cops but also that of the perp made it even more captivating. I can’t wait to see what’s in store next for Det. Stoneman.
